Road races in the beautiful Langdale Valley have been run for nearly thirty years and in that time many thousands of runners of all standards have enjoyed the stunning location of the races while completing their chosen distance.
The Marathon and Half Marathon enjoy a hilly course with the notable challenge of Blea Tarn well worth the effort for the view of the tarn and surrounding hills from the top of the climb, marathon runners get to enjoy it twice.
10k competitors enjoy an undulating road course out and back along the Langdale Valley taking in the villages of Chapel Stile and Elterwater along with the stunning scenery all along the valley.
There is a challenge for everyone here in Langdale and all the profit from the races goes to good causes in the local area.
