Unmissable. A marathon in Britain's most beautiful region. A 2 lap course with some very serious hills. I ran 20 minutes slower than my previous marathon with perhaps a stronger performance. Fabulous setting and the organiser 'The Rocket' is clearly very passionate about running an outstanding event. I would suggest that this is not a course for a 1st time marathoner but I did it as my second marathon and loved it. Completing races like this is what being a long distance runner is all about.
